Arches National Park located in southern Utah contains the world's largest concentration of natural stone arches. Over 2,000 arches are found in the 73,000 acre National Park. The park contains some of the most famous arches in the world including Balanced Rock, Skyline Arch, Double Arch, Fiery Furnace, and Delicate Arch, the park's most famous geologic feature.
Arches National Park, contains an incredible landscape. The slickrock caps of sandstone cover layers of sediment from ancient oceans, shores, and deserts. The opportunities for hiking, biking, and photography are immense. The delicate arches of sandstone sit on the top of sheer cliffs hundreds of feet in the air. It is breathtaking!
